Hal, the kids and I spent last weekend with mom. We had all been looking forward to it since the kids hadn't seen 'Grandma' since June. As you can see from the photos, they spent most of their time sitting on Grandma's lap, coloring with her, or watching TV with her (Spongebob is a favorite).
Mom's medicines have enabled her to move around the first floor of her house slowly for a few hours a day, although she still deals with nausea. Her Hospice nurses take care of medical details and Dad continues to take good care of her while working his farm and managing Farraway Farms.
She truly appreciates the love and support from her friends across the globe.
Thanks again, Charity

Dear Deb,
How good it is to see photos of you enjoying the grandbabies! I am always mindful of you and your "grandmothering" when I'm with our new grandbaby...I don't feel I'll ever be a "typical" grandma, but neither are you! You give me great hope that even an artsy, bookish, non-baking, movie going woman can become the kind of gramma kids love to spend time with. You are and have always been a great inspiration to me..thank you for that! I LOVE YOU!
Hugs,
Paula
Greetings ! I hope you get this ! I have tried to comment on the blog
but my computer will not support anything AOL so it keeps kicking me
out !
It has been too long !
I am not sure you will remember me but I was around for the campus
ministry, lived in the girls house and worshipped at Fellowship
Christian Church at its beginnings ! I use to baby sit Charity and now
I am looking at pictures of her little ones !
God is good ! And you are in my prayers daily !
My husband passed away 9/05 and my Dad passed away 1/06 so we went
through some rough times ! I would not have made it through if it had
not been my faith in the Lord and the love and fellowship of my church family !
It is so awesome to read all the comments from all the folks ! I would love if we all could have a reunion but even if that does not happen on this earth we are promised the most awesome and eternal reunion with everyone and with our Lord Jesus at the end of life !
I really enjoyed the pictures with Deb and the grandchildren ! Charity
and Nellie do not live far from me as I am still in Cincinnati ! I have two teen age daughters Cailla age 19 and Caity age 16 ! They are such blessings to me !
I will continue to pray for you and your family ! What a rough time to
be going through but know you are loved !
